“A community where creativity, care, and collaboration thrive.”
Meraki Tribe is a creative, healing, and collaborative Guild that supports artists, mentors, and community members through shared knowledge, mutual aid, and ethical guidance. Our Guild blends artistry, education, and community care to empower members and nurture growth.
No matter where you begin, there is a place for you in the Tribe.
Some join as artists.
Some join as volunteers.
Some join to build businesses.
Some join because they're searching for community.
Some simply walk through the doors with curiosity.
However you arrive...
Welcome to the Guild.
Every interaction is respectful and voluntary. Respect for personal, creative, and emotional space.
Honest, open communication, and accountability is essential.
We honor everyone's story with empathy, understanding, and care.
Everyone's craft, role, and perspective matters.
Safety, support, and collaboration are shared duties.
Innovation and mentorship are encouraged and celebrated.
This is for curious souls exploring workshops or sessions. They get access to select workshops/events, newsletters, and informal creative participation.
This is for beginning Guild members. They get to attend creative gatherings, circle participation, and mentorship shadowing.
This is for Learners under mentorship. They get access to workshops and the Guild Marketplace.
These are contributors and mentors. They lead projects and teach workshops.
These are the Guardians of the Guild. They are Circle Leaders, mentors to mentors, and overall vision guidance.
Members move through tiers organically, recognized by contribution, alignment with Guild values, and demonstrated commitment.
Our Circle of Mutual Aid ensures members have access to:
Mutual aid fosters a self-sustaining community of support and reciprocity.
Meraki Tribe is committed to safe, trauma-informed spaces:
Whether you are exploring workshops, creating collaboratively, or ready to step into a mentorship role, Meraki Tribe is a community that nurtures your growth, creativity, and well-being.
“I commit to uphold safety, respect, and integrity, and to nurture the creativity and well-being of the Meraki Tribe community.”
For every person who has ever felt they did not belong in this world.
May you find, build, or help create the world you were searching for.
Meraki Tribe exists because creativity is life.
It is healing.
It is connection.
It is culture.
It is the soul made visible.
We believe every person carries something worth creating, and every act of creation leaves a piece of the creator behind.
We gather not only to sell, promote, perform, or be seen.
We gather to create, heal, serve, remember, and become.
The Fire
The Fire is the creative force within every person.
It is the spark that turns pain into art, isolation into belonging, ideas into movements, and survival into purpose.
Meraki Tribe exists to protect and tend that Fire.
No decision shall extinguish the Fire for the sake of convenience, popularity, profit, or control.
Money may sustain the work, but it shall never replace the purpose.
The Tribe
Meraki Tribe is not built around one person.
It is built around a shared promise.
There shall always be an entry point.
No person shall be considered too inexperienced to begin, too different to belong, too wounded to heal, or too small to contribute.
The Tribe is strengthened by artists, dreamers, builders, teachers, healers, storytellers, organizers, students, elders, children, and every person willing to create with love and soul.
The Work
Meraki means to put so much love and soul into the work that a piece of the creator remains within it.
The Work is not limited to traditional art.
A painting is Work.
A song is Work.
A meal is Work.
A business is Work.
A garden is Work.
A lesson is Work.
A repaired object is Work.
A story preserved is Work.
A community built with care is Work.
We honor the creator in every person.
The Stories
People live beyond their years through the retelling of their stories.
Stories preserve culture, memory, wisdom, struggle, triumph, and truth.
Meraki Tribe shall preserve stories whenever possible through print, media, art, conversation, education, and community memory.
We choose to tell stories before we judge people.
We recognize that every person who enters the Tribe carries a world within them.
The Commons
Meraki Tribe shall exist as a place of access, exchange, learning, and belonging.
Resources are meant to circulate.
Knowledge is meant to be shared.
Opportunities are meant to be opened.
The Commons may include books, tools, studios, stages, markets, classrooms, workshops, media, mentorship, and gathering spaces.
These exist so that more people may create, not so that creation remains locked behind wealth, status, or privilege.
Service
Meraki Tribe exists to serve.
Leadership within the Tribe is not domination, ownership, or control.
Leadership is stewardship.
To lead is to protect the Fire, open doors, share resources, create opportunities, and help others rise.
We measure success not only by what we build, but by how many people are empowered to build alongside us.
Healing
Meraki Tribe does not claim to heal people.
People heal with Meraki.
They heal through creation, connection, expression, education, story, culture, purpose, and belonging.
The Tribe shall create conditions where healing becomes possible.
We honor the truth that creativity can help people remember who they are, imagine who they may become, and reconnect with life.
Culture
Culture gives people roots, rhythm, memory, language, and meaning.
Art is a universal language.
It crosses borders, generations, identities, and histories.
Meraki Tribe shall protect and celebrate culture in its many forms.
We reject lifeless conformity.
We honor authenticity, expression, heritage, imagination, and the many ways people make meaning.
Stewardship
No single person owns the soul of Meraki Tribe.
Each generation serves as steward of the vision.
The purpose may remain steady while the methods evolve.
Future stewards are not called to preserve every detail exactly as it began.
They are called to preserve the Fire, the Tribe, and the Legacy.
They must leave Meraki healthier, stronger, more accessible, and more capable of serving the generations that follow.
Legacy
Meraki Tribe exists to outlive its founders.
Its greatest success will not be measured by recognition, titles, fame, or personal legacy.
Its success will be measured by the people who found purpose, the stories preserved, the artists supported, the communities strengthened, and the generations who continue tending the Fire.
The Fire shall never belong to one person.
It shall always belong to the Tribe.
Wherever Meraki Tribe exists, there shall be room to create.
There shall be room to learn.
There shall be room to teach.
There shall be room to serve.
There shall be room to belong.
And when one generation grows tired, another shall take its place beside the Fire.
